Rainbow Fish to the Rescue by Marcus Pfister

Rainbow fish has already given his shiny scales away to his friends. When a new fish arrives, Rainbow Fish and his friends don’t welcome the new comer until a bigger threat faces them all.   

How these stories are connected: When a dangerous shark appears, Rainbow Fish decides to risk everything to save the striped fish. The woman at the well poses a similar challenge for Jesus. What will his friends say when they return and find him speaking with her?

 

Questions about Rainbow Fish to the Rescue:  

     Why didn’t all the fish with the flashy scales want to play with the striped fish?

     How do you think the striped fish felt?

     Who helped the striped fish become friends with the other fish?
