John 14:15-21
"The Promise of the Holy Spirit," Spark Story Bible, p.450
Everywhere Kitten looks, she sees the promise of a full bowl of milk. She tries and tries to get it, but seems to end up tired, wet, and hungry. Finally, she finds the milk she’s been longing for -- in the last place she expects it!
How these stories are connected: A full moon gives Kitten the promise of milk; milk is the thing Kitten wants most! Jesus promises his disciples that his love for them will endure and their ability to love one another will supported when they receive the Holy Spirit.
