A Kiss for Little Bear by Elsa Holelund Minarik

Little Bear sends Grandmother a picture, and she likes it so much she asks Hen to take him a thank-you kiss. But Hen passes the kiss to Frog, who passes it to Cat, and on and on—will Little Bear ever get his kiss?

How these stories are connected: Just as a variety of friends carry a kiss from Grandmother to Little Bear, Jesus' disciples are called to carry God's Word and spread God's love to the world.
