“Introducing Rev. Lindsey Jorgensen-Skakum as the new Pastor of Lutheran Church of the Cross in Calgary, Alberta.

All of us at Church of the Cross extend a warm welcome to Rev. Lindsey and their family as they join our community August 6, 2024.

Pastor Lindsey is married to Danika who is a  PhD student at the U of A and a foundational support to Lindsey’s ministry.

Together they have an almost three year old, who loves all things fun. Their family also has a small rescue pup named Elliott who keeps everyone in line. 

Pastor Lindsey comes to us following 9 years of ministry with and among the people of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Edmonton, Alberta. 

While Church of the Cross has always been the work of its community, we know we will benefit greatly from Lindsey’s pastoral leadership, and look forward to the ministry we’ll share together.
