Luke 12: 13-21
Don't be a fool!

When Jesus was asked to intervene a dispute about a brother's inheritance, he declines and instead uses it as an opportunity to war us to be on guard against "all kinds of greed." He tells a story about a rich man who had a huge crop, decided to build bigger barns, and spend the next several years in leisure. The only problem was that he died that very night.

Jesus call his a "fool" because of his misplaced focus. In a culture that pushes us to be focused on what we want and desire, how do we keep money from becoming our idol? Jesus encourages us to build up "treasures in heaven" instead of treasures on earth. What does it look like to live a life that produces treasures in heaven?
