This central teaching in the Gospel of Mark sheds light on the rest of Jesus' ministry AND the focus of our own: It's not what we put into our bodies that poisons life, but what comes out of us. Our attitudes, behavior, habits, and actions reveal the truth of our hearts.
We are in no position to judge other people because we are constantly and continually doing the work to true our own heart up the heart, love, and action of God.
If you want to judge someone, judge yourself. Work on yourself. Work on your own prejudices, opinions, values, and ideals until they match the virtues of the God of the universe, who loves all people.
