LEAD Listening Session

Have we listened to you, yet?

We believe that the Spirit is moving and that God is at work amongst and around us. Through Bible study, listening to the congregation, and listening to people in the neighbourhood, we can claim and discern what God is doing and wanting to do!   In November and December, the LEAD Listening Team has been busy visiting and listening to the various groups, teams and committees at Church of the Cross. We have listened to more than 12 groups comprising over 80 individuals. But we know that we haven’t listened to all of you, yet!   If you are one of the people we haven’t listened to, then the Listening Team invites you to our LEAD Listening Session on January 6th after worship.

We want to hear your responses to the following questions:

1. What do you love about your church? Can you share a story?
2. When you think about Church of the Cross, what do you hope for its future?
3. How do you hope your church will connect to the surrounding neighbourhood?
4. Summary question: Based on this conversation, what do you hear God saying about who God is calling us to be and what God is calling us to do?
